She is Strong is a show that I'd love to see. 

It breaks the rules of traditional performance, and moves into the realm of sharing our truth. 

 

We meet the community in the months before the show to hear their stories and make an exhibition of local women. 

We greet people as they enter and engage with the exhibition and have a cuppa. 

We invite them onstage after the show too. 

 

The show itself is a platform to share our own stories.

our voices.  our acts. 

We take off our makeup and sparkly costumes.

 

Ultimately we share our souls. 

And then invite them to do the same. 

There are always tears and hugs. But not in a sad way. 

It's from a deep connection to ourselves and eachother. 

 

This is a very special work. 

 

It has toured to: 

Harvey, Balingup, Beverley, Margaret River, Hopetoun, Narrogin, Geraldton and Perth. 

 

It really is a stunning piece of art and heart that we are so proud of.
